What is the Blow-Through Series?

Unlike a standard wall-mounted unit, it's engineered to disappear into soffits, built-in cabinetry, wine walls, adjacent mechanical spaces, or the cellar itself. It's the system we point installers toward when a project calls for cooling that stays out of sight without giving up performance.
What makes the Blow-Through Series different from a traditional wall-mounted evaporator?
Most wall-mounted evaporators pull air in and push it back out from the same front face of the unit. The Blow-Through Series works differently: air moves through the unit from one side to the other, which is what makes it possible to hide, duct, or build the evaporator into a custom layout in the first place. That side-to-side airflow path is the core design choice behind soffit, cabinetry, and in-cellar installations.
Why would someone choose the Blow-Through Series over a traditional Platinum Split?
The short answer is flexibility. The Blow-Through Series delivers concealed cooling without requiring standard ductwork, airflow that can be oriented to fit the room, and the ability to integrate into soffits or cabinetry instead of mounting to a wall.

The Blow-Through Series ships with three airflow kit options, so installers can match the kit to the layout.
- Ductless Airflow: Two air diverters for direct, ductless airflow
- Ducted Airflow: Two 8-inch duct plenums for fully ducted airflow
- Hybrid Airflow: One air diverter and one 8-inch duct plenum
What is the Rotatable Air Deflector?
The Rotatable Air Deflector is the component that gives the Blow-Through Series its airflow flexibility. It lets installers direct airflow left, right, or downward to match the layout of the space, improving circulation inside the cellar rather than forcing a single fixed airflow direction.
Which condensing units are compatible with the Blow-Through Series?
The Blow-Through Series pairs with two condensing units: the Omega 110V H.E. (pump-down configuration) and the H.E. 220V (communication cable configuration). Additional compatibility for communication and pump-down setups can vary by model, so we recommend confirming your specific configuration with us before finalizing an order.
What is the Variable Speed Fan Switch?
The Variable Speed Fan Switch gives installers and technicians control over airflow and fan speed on site. It's there so the system can be tuned to the specific installation, balancing cooling performance, airflow strength, and sound level based on how the space is used.
What controls are included with the system?
Every Blow-Through Series unit includes a KDT Digital Touch Display, which handles system alerts and alarm notifications and can be installed up to 50 feet from the unit for convenient access. It also includes a bottle probe for direct liquid-temperature monitoring, giving a more accurate read on actual wine storage conditions than ambient air sensing alone.
