Every Evolution Wine Wall — wall-mounted or floor-to-ceiling — shares the same steel Wine Rod design, spaced to hold standard, Champagne, and magnum bottles in the same row, label facing out. Here’s that engineering in action on the Post system, starting at just 3″ total depth.

Start small on a wall, or go floor-to-ceiling later with the same Wine Rod system — the design language never breaks.

Wine Wall — Wall Mounted Install Guide
How It's Built

Every Format Starts With the Wine Rod

The steel Wine Rod is the core engineering behind Wine Wall, the Floor-to-Ceiling Post system, and Wine Tower alike — spaced to hold standard, Champagne, and magnum bottles in the same row, label facing out.

Available in Single, Double, and Triple depth (1C/2C/3C), the Wine Rod system scales from a single wall-mounted section to a full floor-to-ceiling or freestanding build.

Questions

FAQs

What's the difference between the Wine Wall and the Floor to Ceiling system?
Wine Wall mounts directly to drywall or wood studs, so it's the way to go if you already have a wall you want to use — it comes in Single, Double, and Triple bottle depths and three widths, with stackable heights that link together as your collection grows. The Floor to Ceiling option uses VintageView's companion Post system to build the same Wine Rod system from floor to ceiling, 12 feet or more, without ever touching a wall. Both share the exact same steel Wine Rod engineering and depth and width options — the only real difference is what you're mounting to.
Can I start with a Wine Wall and expand to floor-to-ceiling later?
Wine Wall and the Floor to Ceiling Post system share the same Wine Rod design and depth options, so the look and bottle spacing stay consistent across both. That said, going from a wall-mounted install to a floor-to-ceiling build uses different mounting hardware — a wall bracket versus the Post system — so it isn't a simple bolt-on addition later. If you're thinking about growing into a floor-to-ceiling feature down the road, talk to one of our specialists first so we can plan the transition properly.
Does the Wine Rod fit Champagne and Magnum bottles?
Yes. The steel Wine Rod is spaced specifically to hold standard 750ml, Champagne, and Magnum bottles in the same row, all label-forward. That means you don't need a separate rack for larger format bottles — a mixed collection sits cleanly on the same system.
Is the Wine Tower freestanding, or does it need to be mounted?
The Wine Tower is fully freestanding — it doesn't attach to a wall or ceiling at all. Metal and acrylic panels form a nearly invisible support structure on either side, so the bottles appear to float. It's available in three heights (47″, 72″, and 92″), with extension packs available if you want to grow it later.
What's involved in installing a wall-mounted Wine Wall?
Wall-mounted Wine Wall installs directly onto drywall or wood studs — there's a full walkthrough video earlier on this page showing exactly what the process looks like from start to finish. If you'd like guidance specific to your wall type or a closer look at what's involved before you buy, our specialists are happy to walk you through it.
