The Kessick Somm 2 Pole 1 Column Parallel Shelf with Stemware/Tasting Shelf and Somm Shelves is a wine display system built on two concave aluminum poles, spanning 30.5 inches wide and holding up to 64 bottles. SE17 combines parallel shelf bottle storage with an integrated stemware rack for wine glass display and a Somm multi-purpose shelf — making it ideal for a complete wine and entertaining station. The wood stemware shelf is available in White Oak or Walnut with a selection of stain and finish options.

Built from heavy-wall anodized aluminum with shelves that ship fully assembled, it is designed for straightforward installation using standard tools and manufactured in the USA. Available for wall-mount installation (Wall Connect 94") and ceiling-mount installation (Ceiling Connect 96"). Capacity based on standard 750ml bottles. Wood species and finish selections are available at a price upgrade — contact us for details.

Concave aluminum poles

Two 1-3/8" concave-face, thick-walled anodized aluminum poles with proprietary internal spline. Pre-cut and pre-drilled to your exact configuration for a streamlined installation.

Stemware/Tasting Shelf + Somm Shelves

The integrated stemware rack provides dedicated wine glass display and easy access while entertaining. The Somm multi-purpose shelf below adds flexible storage — configurable for neck-out, base-out, nested label-forward, or display row use. Wood shelf available in White Oak or Walnut at a price upgrade.

Adapter Plate system

Pre-installed on each pole. Each bracket attaches with two hand-tightened machine screws — no banding, no specialty tools required. Designed for a secure, stable connection with straightforward installation.

Wall or ceiling install

Designed for both wall-mount (Wall Connect 94") and ceiling-mount (Ceiling Connect 96") installation. Telescoping ceiling connectors included for floor-to-ceiling configurations.

Modular & expandable

Expand the system by adding poles side by side to create a complete wine wall. Compatible with the full Somm accessory line — wood countertops, stemware racks, drawers, wine bins, and rolling library ladders.

LED lighting (optional)

Optional LED lighting can be integrated into select configurations and surrounding casework. Contact us for details.

All Parallel Shelves are shipped as fully assembled units, fastened with screws.

Parallel Rods are a unique Kessick aluminum extrusion with a proprietary internal spline. This allows them to span greater widths with minimal deflection and they can be easily cut to custom lengths without deburring or the need of a threaded insert.

The Somm Wine Shelf is a multi-purpose shelf designed with a unique variable angle fastening system. It can be configured for multiple uses depending on your collection and display preference.
