How It's Built
Metal Racking, Label-Forward by Design
The large majority of VintageView's wall-mounted collection is built from metal racking components, engineered to cradle bottles securely while keeping labels visible. A smaller set of acrylic-front options is also available for a lighter, more contemporary display.
Installation
Mounted to Your Wall
Every rack in this collection is designed for wall installation, though the method and hardware vary by series. Here's what to expect for each.
W Series
Installs into wood studs or drywall. For drywall: a toggle bolt at the top hole plus spiral drywall anchors below. For wood: six screws directly into the stud.
- Included: base/neck strips, mounting hole caps, couplers, drywall anchors, screws, toggle bolts
- Tools needed: drill, 1/16" and 1/2" bits, Phillips screwdriver, level, tape measure
Vino Series
Wood-surface installs use wood lag studs driven with a hex key. Drywall installs require VintageView's Drywall Collars plus toggle bolts, a different SKU than the wood-mount version. Collars are mandatory for drywall, not optional, per VintageView's own installation terms.
- Included: Vino Pins or Rails, wood lags (or drywall collars + toggle bolts for drywall), hex key, nuts, plotting guide
- Tools needed: drill, 5/32" bit (plus 5/8" spade bit for drywall), level, 10mm wrenches or M6 driver
Evolution Series
The Evolution Wine Wall, the primary format in this collection, mounts directly to the wall much like the other three series: M6 toggle bolts for drywall, wood screws for wood (min 1/2" thick), or a masonry screw with an expanding anchor for concrete, brick, or stucco. It can also be extended horizontally with separately-sold Extension Kits. For taller or floor-to-ceiling displays, Evolution offers a Wine Wall Post System instead - posts are cut to length with a metal cutting saw, then anchored to both the floor and ceiling with surface-specific fasteners. The Low Profile format uses this same floor-to-ceiling Post System.
